Most Magical Trip Ever

After some consideration, we decided to head back to Disney with the kids for Spring Break 2015.  This time we drove to Ocala and stayed the night at the Hampton Inn and Suites.  It was conveniently located by a Waffle House which was a win for the family that night for dinner.  For this trip, we decide to spend a little more money and opt for a moderate resort, Coronado Springs.  I love the landscape design of the area; the large lake in the middle of the property provides for a good view.  We liked the dining option but not having to wait at the counter for food.  At other places, they give you a pager and you can sit until your food is ready.  Some nights it got crowded waiting among other hungry people. To start this trip, we took the kids to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Down Town Disney (now Disney Springs).  This is when it was still located in the back of the World of Disney.  That made it a little hectic waiting for the kids' tur...

Our First Disney Trip

Image
We took our first family trip to Disney in 2013.  We decided to stay for 5 days in October.  Our main reason for October travel is that three out of our four family birthdays is in the month of October.  But the added benefit for Disney is that the weather is cooler and the crowds are lighter.  Since Reagan was just turning 2 years old, she was free as far as tickets and dining.  Since we did not want to be overwhelmed with dealing with kid stuff, we invited my parents and Ryan's mom to come with us.  Since we had a large group, I decided it was best to stay at the Art of Animation in a family suite.  The Art of Animation opened a little over a year prior so I thought it would be neat to check out all of the hype about the decor.  We really enjoyed the layout of the Nemo family suite.  With a separate room that I could close the door, napping when at the hotel was great for Reagan. There was a double bed that also folded up to become a table ...

What makes us happy...

Our family was established in 2006 when Ryan and I married after 5 years of dating.  We welcomed Cooper into the world October 2009 and then Reagan followed in October 2011.  We took small trips here and there when they were young, nothing to brag about really.  But we decided for their 2nd and 4th birthday it would be fun to take a family trip, grandparents included, to Disney.  After that little getaway, our desire to escape reality took hold.  While we love our the life we live, our family travel adventures generate memories that are irreplaceable.  While Disney will aalways have our hearts, we crave travelling to more exotic places. My intent for this blog is to share not only our Disney adventures, but small getaways we have taken that are family friendly for young children.  Hopefully our travels will inspire your family to start making memories together!
